3AM Freestyle (The time not the Eminem beat) by Swagga Boss
Inspiration struck at 3AM in the morning and I couldn't find my pen so I just freestyle to the instrumental by Squeezy Beats. I'll write out the lyrics and fine tune this tomorrow after I wake up. Then I'll re-record and release a better version sometime next week. Hope y'all like it...

It's been a while since I've updated my blog. But I have a lot to tell y'all about upcoming projects.
So first off me and Wilson have a mixtape dropping in May called 'The Clock Turns 12.' The basic premise behind the tape is that we're lyrical monsters and at midnight we come out to play. You can expect a lot of lyrical sparring on this tape. If you like syllables, punchlines, wordplay and crazy rhyme schemes...this is the mixtape you'll want to get. The first single will be dropping next week.
The next mixtape drops in June and will be a collaboration between me and Kingpin. This will be an introduction of our new two-man group, The MNRchy. On that tape we'll be destroying some of your favorite instrumentals as well as giving y'all a taste of some of the original music from the MNRchy album (release date TBA). The tape will be hosted by G-Unit affiliate DJ Young Cee and will be dropping June 18th.
Also last but not least...I have my own personal tape dropping in July on my birthday called 'Reid Between the Lines.' As the title suggests, this is going to be a very personal project with a lot of insightful storytelling joints. I'm gunna open up a lot more on this one and give you an inside look at the man behind the music. Production will be from producers I have the utmost respect for like DJ Premiere, Idasa Tariq, and RZA. This tape drops July 9th.
Hopefully y'all will be on the lookout for all of these tapes. We've been putting a lot of work in the studio and we're just hoping the fans love the music, appreciate the work and support the movement.

This is the first episode of BARS where I will be breaking down some of my more complex rhymes. This episode focuses in on the second verse of "Have No Fear" off of Ice Water for Hell. If you have any suggestions for songs I should do next episode hit me up in the comments.

Sometimes I get tired of being the ultra-lyrical, go over everybody head ass rapper. Sometimes I wanna take it easy. This was actually a writing exercise. The rules were simple. Strip myself of my biggest strength (lyricism) and still make a dope song. No complicated rhyme schemes; no complex wordplay; no double/triple entendres. What's funny is, this actually ended being my favorite song of Ice Water for Hell.

In April, I'ma start a show called "BARS" (Break Apart the Rhyme Schemes) where I take one of my verses or songs and break it apart for y'all. I've been told a lot of my lines go over heads or people just don't see what I'm doing with the schemes and whatnot.
So I got the idea from this Lux video and I'ma start my own series like this. Lupe Fiasco need to start one too. Haha. If y'all have any specific verses of mine y'all want me to break apart, let me know in the comments.
